Position Overview

We are excited to announce a new opportunity within our Quality Team at Boccard. This position will play a crucial role in our ongoing growth and will involve collaboration across various company locations.


The Quality Assurance Project Lead will report directly to the Senior Project Quality Manager and will be instrumental in establishing quality benchmarks for the successful execution of the piping supports initiative. This role is essential in ensuring that quality control protocols are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing critical deliverables such as operational procedures, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), End of Manufacturing Reports (EoMRs), Quality Review Checklists (QRCs), and approved supplier lists.
  • Ensuring that all personnel are suitably qualified and experienced.
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients to foster strong relationships.
  • Driving enhancements in processes and procedures, ensuring effective implementation.
  • Ensuring Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) are resolved, corrective actions are tracked, and communicated effectively.
  • Prioritizing Right First Time (RFT) principles in all aspects of the role.
  • Promoting a culture of Nuclear Safety and leading by example.
  • Encouraging a questioning mindset through effective communication and engagement.
  • Leading the quality team to ensure timely execution of tasks by the appropriate personnel.
  • Acting as the primary contact for manufacturing quality concerns, providing technical solutions while adhering to established procedures and client specifications.
  • Analyzing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify issues and assess the effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Being well-versed in both client and internal policies, procedures, and diversity initiatives.
  • Performing additional reasonable tasks as required within the scope of the role.
  • Focusing on Health & Safety and Quality while also managing project timelines for delivery.
  • Facilitating meetings on both technical and non-technical subjects.
  • Managing daily team tasks, providing clear guidance on expectations.
  • Effectively prioritizing workloads for yourself and the team in a dynamic environment.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar capacity, preferably within the nuclear, industrial manufacturing, oil and gas, or related sectors.
  • A strong quality-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • A positive, proactive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Resilience in challenging situations.
  • Possession of a valid UK driving license.
