Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to oversee our finance function and support the growth of our organisation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in managing financial processes and providing financial insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and support the finance function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
- Review and improve financial processes, including cash management, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll.
- Maintain a comprehensive Fixed Asset Register, ensuring accurate records of additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Reconcile monthly balance sheet components, calculate prepayments and accruals, and post monthly journals to produce the trial balance.
- Produce and improve the monthly management accounting pack, providing financial insights to inform business decisions.
- Oversee the timely delivery of weekly financial KPI information, as required.
- Undertake ad-hoc analysis and reporting, as needed.
- Provide support for the annual audit process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial information and analysis to inform business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA) with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Xero is essential. Prior experience in a care organisation is highly valued.
