Job Summary

Matchtech is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Safety and Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our defence team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing safety and reliability engineering solutions for complex defence products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure the development of safe and reliable defence products.
  • Safety and Reliability Case Development: Develop and present compelling safety and reliability cases to customers, balancing time and cost constraints.
  • System Design and Engineering: Influence the technical aspects of sophisticated defence products from concept to delivery.
  • Reliability Assurance: Ensure progressive reliability assurance and manage effective reliability programmes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with military partners and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-standard safety and reliability engineering.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in systems design and systems engineering, with a strong understanding of defence and security-related technologies.
  • Skills: Proficiency in safety and reliability engineering, with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering or a related discipline.
