About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Heritage Consultant to join our team at Archaeological Research Services Ltd. As a key member of our Consultancy team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality consultancy services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Conduct desk-based assessments, environmental statement chapters, and other consultancy services.
  • Supervise staff and oversee the successful initiation and delivery of projects.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Consultancy team, scheduling, monitoring, and ensuring accountability for the Heritage team's work programs.
  • Drive and use CAD or GIS to support desk-based assessments and environmental statement chapters.
  • Assist in developing the consultancy service for the company by generating clients, leads, and winning new work.
  • Train other team members and contribute to the company's training and development initiatives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality consultancy services.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
  • Proficiency in CAD and GIS, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
