Important Note: This position involves more than just operating a forklift; it requires physical labor in a challenging environment.

We are seeking a dedicated Yard Forklift Truck Operator to fill a full-time, temporary to permanent position within a thriving manufacturing organization in the Rugby area.

This role is unique as it combines yard duties with forklift operation, where you will utilize a counterbalance forklift to load metal orders onto vehicles, secure loads with nets, and perform various yard and production tasks using machinery.

Expect to work in diverse weather conditions, engaging in lifting, loading, pushing, pulling, and operating bending machinery, as well as retrieving materials from the yard.

This position blends yard work with some forklift operation and potential crane operation with future training opportunities.

What We Offer:

  • Standard 45 hours of paid work per week (£531 gross weekly).
  • Base pay of £11.80 per hour, with overtime at £17.70.
