Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Manager to lead our team of Warehouse Operatives in a fast-paced distribution environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing team performance and KPIs, with a strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve high levels of productivity and efficiency
  • Manage stock, materials, storage, and despatch operations to meet customer demands
  • Process documentation and administration to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Manage the warehouse budget and implement cost-saving initiatives
  • Ensure a strong understanding of Health & Safety protocols and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment
  • Induct and train new members of staff to ensure a smooth transition into the team
  • Implement ways to reduce waste and increase efficiency within the warehouse operation
  • Work closely with the Quality Manager to implement policies and procedures
  • Be hands-on and support with operations to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ensure machinery, equipment, and FLT's are maintained and reports are kept up to date
  • Have a strong understanding of IT systems and processes
  • Exceptional organisation and communication skills
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of managing team performance and KPIs
  • Strong understanding of inventory management, stock control, and warehouse operations
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong understanding of IT systems and processes
