Carpenter and Locksmith Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Carpenter and Locksmith to join our team at Government Facility Services Ltd. As a key member of our Facilities Maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform a range of carpentry and locksmithing tasks, including repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Use a variety of power tools and machinery to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with other tradespeople and facilities staff to achieve common goals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance plans and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Substantiated experience in a similar role, preferably in a maintenance or construction environment.
- Competency in the use and operation of all associated power tools and machinery.
- Basic IT skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel and Word.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety requirements.
- Up-to-date First Aid at Work Qualification.
- City & Guilds, National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Level 3 in Carpentry or an equivalent qualification or substantial experience.
- Good Health & Safety knowledge.
