About the Role
This position is responsible for ensuring a safe and clean work environment for all employees at Centaur Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will work collaboratively to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness throughout the workplace.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day cleaning operations, including sweeping, vacuuming, disinfecting, and dusting to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Remove waste and debris, and ensure the proper disposal of recyclables.
- Liaise with waste collection companies and provide necessary information to management.
- Support change initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with the cleaning team.
- Understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and standards at all times.
Requirements
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to forward think and anticipate needs.
- Ensure compliance with COSHH guidelines at all times.
