Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Regional Managing Editor to lead our pricing markets team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the regional strategy for our pricing markets, contributing to the global strategy, and driving excellence across the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and develop a high-performing team of market experts, ensuring a constant stream of leading content and robust, correction-free pricing.
  • Lead market engagement through meetings and events, driving price adoption and promoting our expertise.
  • Manage the regional team's responsibilities and diary, ensuring a solid back-up system is in place to maintain coverage.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration, breaking down silos and enriching content or pricing coverage.
  • Support recruitment, talent development, and retention, maintaining a positive working environment and culture.
  • Actively engage with industry participants to gather insight, gain feedback, and promote the quality of our prices.
  • Collaborate with the Editorial Operations team to ensure content is produced in line with our strategy and style.
  • Foster positive relationships with Strategy, Marketing, Product, and Events teams to promote products and services.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in pricing markets and journalism with expertise in relevant commodity sectors.
  • Experience in recruiting, training, and mentoring a team to meet and exceed our standards for pricing, content, and market coverage.
  • Experience in managing people managers and coaching them to drive performance within their team.
  • Experience in market engagement, including organizing or overseeing roadshows, webinars, external meetings, and speaking at events.
  • Ability to manage a budget and prioritize resource use to achieve efficiencies and bring results.
  • Able to lead multiple projects simultaneously with a strong vision that is communicated clearly and coherently.
  • Support risk and compliance in audit activities, ensuring the team is comfortable and familiar with all processes under review.
