Pertemps Scotland is seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Loader in the Waste Department. This is a temporary opportunity for 6 months, with the possibility of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure efficient waste management operations.
  • Load waste and recyclables behind refuse and recycling lorries.
  • Perform manual lifting and handling of bulky items, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
  • Deliver and uplift recycling and refuse containers as required.
  • Assist in the delivery of advisory leaflets to residents.
  • Clear fly tipping and other environmental hazards.
  • Uplift and dispose of dead animals, birds, and mammals in a responsible manner.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor or foreman.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • Own safety boots are required, with all necessary PPE provided by the client.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm
  • Friday: 7:00 am - 2:30 pm

Pay Rate: £12.45 per hour
