About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our International Sales team at Uniphar Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, driving growth, and implementing our long-term trading and selling strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect new customers and follow up on leads to identify new business opportunities internationally.
  • Work closely with the International Sales team to drive growth and implement our long-term trading and selling strategy.
  • Develop new business leads by meeting potential clients to understand their needs and providing relevant solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the business, particularly with Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.
  • Identify new business opportunities to grow the client base and drive growth.
  • Utilize your extensive experience in the pharmaceutical industry to drive business growth in MENA, LATAC, and Africa regions.
Requirements
  • Proven track record in achieving targets in a wholesale environment.
  • Solid understanding of the pharmaceutical industry locally and globally.
  • Extensive experience in prospecting new business and driving growth.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with others.
  • Commercial awareness and strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
  • Good time management and planning skills, with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Knowledge of SAP, BI, and Across CRM systems is an advantage.
