We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Assistant to join our team at Bright Horizons Elsie Inglis Day Nursery and Preschool.
About the RoleAs an Early Years Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, aged from birth to five years old. You will work closely with our experienced team to create a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes learning and development.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the daily care and education of children, including planning and implementing activities that promote their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient service, maintaining high standards of care and education at all times.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's activities, progress, and any issues that may arise.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote the welfare and safety of children.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early years education and care.
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about working with young children, has a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and education, and is able to work effectively as part of a team. Previous experience in early years education and care is desirable, but not essential. You will need to be able to communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues, and be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the nursery.
