Job Title: Material Handler

Hours: Monday to Friday (Day Shift 6am - 2pm, Back Shift 2pm - 10pm, Night Shift 10pm - 6am)

Salary: From £26,000 (DOE)

Location: Dumfries

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team in a leading plastics manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in counting and inspecting items.
  • Control the delivery of raw materials and respective unloading to silos.
  • Organize and ensure delivery drivers adhere to related quality and Health and Safety policies and instructions.
  • Control the necessary documentation, ensuring correct counts, weights or measures.
  • Safely and efficiently operate power and manual material moving equipment such as forklifts.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Forklift; Logistics and Administrative work.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Good working knowledge of relevant legislation, including Health & Safety.
