About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Bracknell. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support to our customers to help them develop the life skills they need to meet their assessed needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to customers to promote social inclusion and independent living.
  • Work with customers to set personalised goals and develop Support Plans.
  • Conduct regular key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals.
  • Manage risks associated with customers in a positive and proactive manner.
  • Provide support with daily living activities and ensure customers enjoy a high quality of accommodation.
  • Develop links with local statutory and voluntary organisations to provide engagement opportunities for customers.
  • Empower customers to access the services and benefits they are entitled to.
  • Manage rent accounts effectively and ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level or equivalent experience in the social care/charity sector.
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with customers and work as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude.
  • Confidence and high levels of self-esteem.
  • Respectful, articulate, and sensitive communication style.
  • Customer-focused and motivated towards excellence.
