Estimator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our client's estimating team at Engineering @ 365 Ltd.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare tender bids by analyzing customer requirements and providing accurate cost estimates.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, including Quantity Surveyors and Commercial teams.
  • Negotiate prices with suppliers and sub-contractors.
  • Manage the estimating and commercial aspects of the tender process.
  • Liaise with the Drawing Office to understand and interpret site requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Project team to ensure timely delivery of contracts.
  • Work with all relevant departments to ensure smooth planning and project implementation.
  • Prepare handover documents for Project Managers and installation teams.
  • Maintain up-to-date records and databases.
Requirements:
  • Existing relationships with Contractors, Clients, and key suppliers.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of Commercial contracts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and IT skills.
  • Professional telephone manner and smart appearance.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
