- Oversee project delivery throughout international project lifecycles, including masterplans, strategic studies, feasibility assessments, and construction support.
- Drive business development through effective bid management, proposal creation, scope definition, and quality responses to client tenders, adhering to Atkins' bid management protocols.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary framework across global teams, including regions such as the UK, Middle East, India, and the US, to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure projects are delivered efficiently, meeting timelines and budgets while complying with AtkinsRéalis' business management systems.
- Advise design teams on integrating sustainable wastewater infrastructure concepts into masterplans and feasibility studies, focusing on demand calculations, circular economy principles, and alternative water reuse.
- Generate and assess conceptual designs, drawings, and reports to support sustainable integrated designs.
- Lead the design of technical solutions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and codes, while promoting a Net Zero Water framework.
- Advocate for the adoption of digital initiatives and innovative solutions within the water sector.
- Provide mentorship and management for team members, ranging from recent graduates to more experienced professionals.
- Understanding of the water environment and sustainability, with a desire to address the challenges faced in this sector.
- A natural inclination towards developing innovative, sustainable, and cost-effective solutions for clients.
- Extensive experience in project and bid leadership within the wastewater sector globally, particularly in the UK and Middle East, with a respect for diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience in wastewater planning, large-scale masterplans, and sustainable urban development; international experience is advantageous.
- Membership in a recognized professional organization (e.g., ICE or CIWEM).
- Strong technical background in wastewater at the strategic masterplanning level, including knowledge of relevant UK and international codes and standards.
- Experience with hydraulic and hydrological modeling, GIS software, and industry-standard design tools.
- Highly motivated and organized, with a commitment to promoting technical excellence within project teams and the broader AtkinsRéalis practice.
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, capable of working collaboratively and independently within a multidisciplinary environment.
- Proven track record of innovation in the water sector, including digital advancements, circular water principles, and sustainable materials.
- Flexibility in work type and location for project assignments, with a willingness to travel for both short and long-term international assignments.
