As a Cardiology Catheterization Laboratory Nurse, your responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering care for patients pre and post cardiac catheterization procedures.
2. Engaging in the pre-assessment of all catheterization lab patients.
3. Advancing practices in the evaluation of health and wellness needs.
4. Communicating complex, sensitive, or contentious information effectively.
5. Contributing to the enhancement of services and quality standards.
6. Leading the development of knowledge, ideas, and practices within the cardiology specialty.
7. Planning, monitoring, and ensuring the quality of technology used for measurement, monitoring, and treatment.
Candidate Profile:
To be considered for the Cardiology Catheterization Laboratory Nurse position, candidates must:
1. Hold a valid NMC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
2. Be eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship.
3. Have a minimum of one year of nursing experience in a catheterization lab within the UK.
4. Possess desirable experience in cardiology.
5. Demonstrate proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for various cardiac catheterization procedures.
