About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Academic Officer to join our team at the School of Enterprise and Employability. As an Academic Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students, promoting a culture of preventative safeguarding and positive wellbeing.

The successful candidate will have a passion for helping students thrive and a commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment on campus. You will be responsible for promoting positive relationships and communications between all members of the college community, responding to sensitive situations, and providing information and signposting students to relevant support services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships and communications between students and staff.
  • Promote a culture of preventative safeguarding and positive wellbeing, responding to sensitive situations and providing support to students.
  • Work with students to develop their employability skills, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and deliver high-quality learning programs, ensuring that students receive the best possible education and support.
