Our client is a well-established fleet maintenance organization with over three decades of experience. They prioritize employee welfare, operate from a modern and well-equipped workshop, and are committed to delivering exceptional service to their clients. Due to their ongoing success, they are seeking a qualified Lead HGV Technician to enhance their dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities of the Lead HGV Technician
- Perform maintenance, repairs, and modifications on a variety of vehicles and trailers, offering technical assistance from diagnosis to completion.
- Ensure all technical work meets high standards while adhering to strict health and safety regulations concerning equipment and tools.
- Conduct pre-MOT inspections and execute necessary repairs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of commercial vehicles, including both tractor units and rigid vehicles.
- Possession of an HGV Class 1 license is preferred but not mandatory.
- Fully qualified as an HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair.
