Production Operator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operator to join our team at Greencore Group Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective production of chilled ready meals for some of the UK's leading retailers.
Key Responsibilities- Work in our assembly area or packing department, ensuring quality checks are carried out in accordance with quality standards.
- Perform regular quality checks on finished products, ensuring they meet high standards and are prepared for despatch.
- Assist in the production process, including hand weighing raw materials, adding trays to conveyor belts, and moving heavy materials.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve production targets and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.
- Previous experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Good literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
