About the Role

We are delighted to be partnered with our client, a reputable financial services firm, as they seek to recruit an Outsourcing Senior to join their experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a successful organisation, providing an exceptional bespoke service to clients ranging from entrepreneurs and SMEs to groups of companies.

The successful candidate will be based in our office in Uckfield, East Sussex, and will have the flexibility to work from home on occasions.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a competitive salary of £34,000-£38,000 per annum, plus excellent company benefits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing junior team members' work and providing support in their professional development
  • Responding to and anticipating clients' needs
  • Preparing and reviewing VAT returns, consolidations, and cash flows for management accounts
  • Managing multiple deadlines and ensuring a high level of service to meet clients' expectations
Requirements

We are looking for a proactive, hands-on team player who is confident in working to changing priorities in a busy department.

The ideal candidate will have a natural organisational ability, a keen eye for detail, and accuracy.

They will also be confident working in a fast-paced environment, with a good level of VAT knowledge and experience in bookkeeping, management accounts, and financial services.

Intermediate to advanced Excel, Xero, Dext, and QuickBooks skills are essential, as well as strong experience in a small to medium-sized practice.
