London office 2 days per week – hybrid working

Are you looking for a challenging role that allows you to lead and shape technical approaches to solving complex problems?

In this position, you will be a core contributor to the development of software solutions for one of the UK's biggest banks. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams to drive efforts to create, build, support, and improve the bank's software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement secure and resilient software solutions.
  • Develop and maintain microservices, containerization, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Ensure compliance with API standards, security, and gateway patterns.
  • Collaborate with data teams to design and implement data technologies, including SQL/NoSQL and Big Data.
  • Develop and maintain cloud architecture, with a focus on GCP or AWS.
  • Lead the transition from monolithic to microservice architectures.
  • Contribute to the development of a generous pension scheme.
