We are seeking a skilled Mobile Gas Engineer to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. As a Mobile Gas Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical diagnosis and solutions, performing routine maintenance checks in relation to Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems with some electrical maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform fault finding, maintenance, repair and installation of Gas and Hot & Cold Water systems.
  2. Liaise with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.
  3. Travel across a specified region to perform maintenance checks and repairs.
  4. Work closely with the Technical Service Manager and other engineers to ensure seamless delivery of services.

Requirements:

  1. Commercial Gas qualification/certification (COCN1 or CODNCO1).
  2. Gas Safe registered Gas Engineer.
  3. Ideal qualifications: Gas Safe commercial gas modules (CIGA1, CORT1, CENWAT, TPCP1A).
  4. Experience in maintaining Gas equipment/pipe work and hot and cold water systems.
  5. 18th edition or supplementary electrical skills desirable.
  6. Experience in completing job certificates in an electronic format.
  7. Full UK Driving Licence required.
  8. Demonstrable experience in liaising with customers.
  9. Ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  10. Good level of PC literacy.

What We Offer:

  1. Competitive salary: £41,917 per annum.
  2. Standby allowance (circa £290 per week) when on rota.
  3. Appropriate overtime rate when attending calls.
  4. Company Vehicle.
  5. 22.5 days annual leave (rising to 25 after 5 years' service) + Bank holidays.
