Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Engineer - Engine Test Lab to join our team at Recruit Central. As an Automation Engineer - Engine Test Lab, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and deploying new features and functions within our test automation platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and deploy new features and functions within our test automation platforms.
  • Work closely with a global team of Product Owners, Software Architects, System Integration Engineers, Automation Developers, and Testers.
  • Collaborate with industry-leading Automation and Data Acquisition tools, including products from leading automotive suppliers.
Requirements
  • Passion for automation and a commitment to learn and grow within the field of automation development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Development, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic and/or Robotic Engineering, or equivalent relevant work-related experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to troubleshoot system interaction issues, identify root causes, and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Strong technical understanding of Electrical, Electronic, or Automation systems.
  • Experience with scripting and/or coding in one or more languages and an appetite to further develop scripting and coding ability within the role.
Desirable Skills
  • Software Development Experience.
  • Experience with automotive test automation platforms and measurement tools.
  • Experience working with Engines/Transmissions/Vehicle Electrification Components and Technologies.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as NI-DIAdem or AVL Concerto.
Work Arrangements

For the first 2 to 3 months, the role will be fully onsite for training, with the potential to go to 40% remote working.
