The Senior Financial AdvisorWe are seeking a high-calibre individual with a broad understanding of financial planning, investment strategies, and wealth management. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial advice to clients, with a strong focus on communication, interpersonal skills, and empathy.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track-record of planning for a portfolio of clients with diverse financial and wealth-focused needs, through the short, medium, and long term. They will be responsible for identifying clients' needs, ensuring they are met, and maintaining relationships with clients through proactive monitoring of their portfolios.
The Senior Financial Advisor will be a dynamic, people-focussed negotiator, with the sales acumen to acquire profitable client relationships and act as a primary resource for investment communication. They will be responsible for driving business results, acquiring new assets, and conducting investment reviews with clients to validate their current investment objectives and prepare recommendations of appropriate investment products.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related discipline, with excellent investment knowledge and experience of advising business owners. They will have a minimum of 7 years' sales and client management experience in a similar financial planning role, with a demonstrated ability to manage a high-end portfolio.
The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of investments and trust concepts, including asset allocation, portfolio reviews, and wealth planning opportunities. They will have experience with and in-depth knowledge of the equity and fixed income markets, alternative investments, and analytical ability to relate specific client asset situations to individual products.
