Dimensions is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to provide personalized care to Tom, an individual with learning disabilities and autism.
This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference in someone's life by assisting with daily living activities and encouraging participation in meaningful social and recreational pursuits.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide support with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Assist with medication administration (if applicable).
- Accompany Tom to appointments, outings, and community events.
- Implement positive behavior support strategies to promote a safe and nurturing environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Genuine passion for working with individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
- Experience in providing personal care and support services is preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Full UK or EU driving license for mobility vehicle operation.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate of £12.00 with additional pay for sleep-in shifts.
