Your Role

As a Senior Financial Support Consultant, you will deliver specialized advice and assistance to individuals facing financial difficulties. You will manage intricate cases, developing tailored strategies and financial plans to guide them back to stability. When necessary, you will advocate for clients in legal settings, ensuring their rights and interests are protected.

Your knowledge will be shared across various teams within the council, improving their comprehension of financial management and inclusion. Your decisions will directly influence outcomes, as you will allocate emergency resources to those in urgent need and foster a collaborative team environment.

Building strong relationships with colleagues and ensuring every client feels valued and supported will be your priority. As part of our dynamic team, you will engage in continuous reflection on our methods and suggest innovative approaches to effect positive change.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Debt Advice Caseworker to join our team. As a vital member of our financial advisory service, you will provide expert guidance to individuals grappling with debt, empowering them to regain control over their finances.

With a solid background in debt advisory services, you will possess experience in negotiating with creditors, contesting debt actions, and advising on income enhancement, financial documentation, and budgeting.

As a certified Debt Advice Caseworker recognized by a reputable body, you will bring your knowledge and passion to our team.
