About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our team at the Centura Group. As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our construction projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement company policies and procedures related to quality management.
  • Assist with the preparation and upkeep of local health, safety, and environmental (HSEQ) documentation, including management plans, project procedures, and process flowcharts.
  • Maintain performance data, registers, and dashboards linked to quality management.
  • Monitor quality inspections and subsequent actions to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist with internal systems audits and quality control inspections.
  • Support the engineering teams in maintaining records of quality control inspections to ensure records are available at project completion.
  • Share best practices across projects and assist with lessons learned activities.
  • Contribute to the company's sustainability and social value goals.
  • Assist with promoting a safe and caring workplace culture.
Requirements
  • GCSE qualification in English and Maths.
  • Preferably T-Level / A-Level / NVQ Level 3 standard, or equivalent level of qualification in a Civil Engineering / Construction related discipline.
  • CSCS card (achieved or willing to work towards).
  • Basic entry-level understanding of construction.
  • Some experience, or a desire to begin a career within the Construction Industry.
