Job Title: Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Maintenance Engineer to lead our engineering team in supporting boiler operations, plant maintenance, and waste handling from a proactive and reactive perspective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support to the automated process and Shift Management Team, leading daily maintenance activities, key shutdowns, and plant improvements.
  • Drive the use of breakdown analysis to continuously improve asset intensity.
  • Lead the execution/prioritisation of planned maintenance activities, communicating with production and other stakeholders to achieve this.
  • Support the management of shift labour - ensuring the department always has engineering cover to the agreed minimum levels.
  • Lead a team in delivering compliance in safety, quality, cost, and delivery.
  • Support the development of the Engineering team in line with the Technical competency matrix.
  • Utilise strong fault-finding skills and proven experience of using breakdown analysis to eliminate root cause.
  • Have good knowledge of SAP systems and reporting.
  • Have good knowledge of Project Management methodologies and a drive to implement these with the team.
Requirements:
  • Experience as an electrical engineering technician.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to lead a team.
  • Strong fault-finding skills.
  • Proven experience of using breakdown analysis.
  • Good knowledge of SAP systems and reporting.
  • Good knowledge of Project Management methodologies.
