Key Responsibilities
As an Electrician at BJF Group, your primary duties will include:

  • Responding to urgent service requests and performing initial repairs when feasible
  • Preparing quotations for repairs when immediate fixes are not achievable, ensuring minimal disruption
  • Executing scheduled electrical maintenance tasks according to established programs and maintaining accurate records of work performed
  • Ensuring that all work areas are maintained to high standards, both internally and externally, in compliance with electrical specifications
  • Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations and procedures
  • Demonstrating a proactive approach to health and safety in the workplace, taking necessary precautions to mitigate risks
  • Providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards of workmanship
  • Being adaptable and willing to undertake additional electrical tasks as required
  • Participating in a call-out rota as needed

Qualifications and Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Experience in planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical tasks
  • Knowledge of repairs following electrical installation condition reports, including minor works certification
  • Completion of the 18th Edition electrical course
  • 2391 certification is advantageous
