Senior Bridge Engineer

At COWI, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure design team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of bridge projects, from design to construction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and check bridge structures, ensuring compliance with UK design standards and Eurocodes.
  • Liaise with clients and project teams to deliver high-quality designs and solutions.
  • Collaborate with CAD/BIM technicians to produce 2D and 3D design drawings and models.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in bridge design and construction.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative solutions and best practices in bridge engineering.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in civil or structural engineering and chartered status with ICE or IStructE.
  • Proven experience in bridge design and construction, with a strong understanding of UK design standards and Eurocodes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
