Job Title: Part Time Weighbridge Operative

We are seeking a skilled Weighbridge Operative to join our team at a busy transport hub in Eggborough, just outside of Goole. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our weighbridge, managing visitor details, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control and operate the weighbridge to ensure accurate and efficient weighing operations
  • Log visitor details and maintain accurate records
  • Direct visitors and allocate loading bays as required
  • Issue loading paperwork to the yard and warehouse teams
  • Contribute to general administration and paperwork to support warehouse operations
Requirements:
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Fluent in English with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient use of IT systems, including Microsoft Office
  • Previous experience in a similar role or transport logistics
