Leading Asset Management firm, Bruin, is in search of a Business Resilience Lead to enhance their operational framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the formulation and execution of the Resilience strategy across European operations, necessitating exceptional stakeholder engagement and the ability to interact effectively with senior management.
- Collaborating with the Regulatory Programme Office and IT department to facilitate the implementation of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA).
- Post-implementation, this role will oversee the governance and reporting processes to senior leadership and boards.
- Providing guidance and support to stakeholders throughout the implementation phase and into Business As Usual (BAU), while enhancing frameworks and reporting mechanisms.
- Acting as the primary Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Operational Resilience within the European sector, ensuring comprehensive oversight of the business service lifecycle and addressing vulnerabilities until resolution.
- Coordinating and managing key business service owners, facilitating the approval process for changes to critical business services and impact tolerances at the legal entity level.
- Preparing and assisting in the governance facilitation to empower senior management in making informed decisions for relevant European legal entities.
- Maintaining documentation for annual self-assessments.
- Designing, executing, and leading stress testing initiatives for each critical business service.
Required Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 3 years of proven experience in Digital Operational Resilience, ideally within the financial services sector.
- A relevant undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills are essential, as this role will interact with a diverse range of stakeholders across the organization.
- A solid understanding and prior experience with DORA implementation is necessary.
- Preferred qualifications include relevant certifications in Business Continuity.
