Join Our Team as a Global Head of Functional Genomics Biology

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Functional Genomics Biology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving the science and strategy for all biological activities related to target discovery and target validation in Functional Genomics.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Functional Genomics Biology and a proven track record of success in leading teams and driving scientific excellence. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art capabilities in gene editing and genetic screening, translational in vitro models, and high-throughput biology and imaging. You will also collaborate with our Functional Genomics groups, collaborators, and stakeholders to develop and execute a portfolio of genetic screening projects that have a high likelihood of delivering novel, high-quality targets into the early discovery and development pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain state-of-the-art capabilities in gene editing and genetic screening, translational in vitro models, and high-throughput biology and imaging.
  • Collaborate with Functional Genomics groups, collaborators, and stakeholders to develop and execute a portfolio of genetic screening projects.
  • Actively engage with multiple Functional Genomics academic collaborations and successfully integrate external innovation as required.
  • Contribute to Functional Genomics strategic direction, resource planning, and prioritization through participation as a key member of the Functional Genomics Leadership Team.

  • Experience setting the vision and direction to deliver scientific excellence.
