Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 support for young people with additional learning needs, utilizing your expertise to create personalized learning plans.
- Plan, deliver, and assess learning activities in your specialist subject area, ensuring a high-quality educational experience.
- Collaborate with the team to support the development of young people within a secure environment, promoting a culture of mutual respect and trust.
- Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Office.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to work well in a team, taking initiative and contributing to a positive and supportive team culture.
- Experience working with challenging behavior in a residential or educational setting, with a strong understanding of child and adolescent development.
- Knowledge of restorative practices, safeguarding, and child-centered approaches.
- Qualifications including 5 GCSEs (C or above) in English and Maths and a Level 4 qualification in education delivery (or commitment to achieve it).
