We are seeking a dedicated Support Assistant for Positive Behaviour to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN).
Role DetailsThis is a full-time position offering competitive remuneration, with a focus on providing tailored support to students. The successful candidate will engage with children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, addressing a variety of SEN requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the educational development of children with diverse needs, including ASD, ADHD, and SEMH.
- Participate in ongoing training related to Behaviour Management and professional development.
- Collaborate with educational staff to create a supportive learning environment.
While a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is preferred, it is not mandatory. Experience in educational, pastoral, or personal settings with children who have SEN is highly valued.
RequirementsCandidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, an enhanced DBS check. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to fostering positive behaviour and supporting the educational journey of children.
