Sheridan Maine South is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our team in Bristol. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for processing invoices and expense claims efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:- Process invoices and expense claims in a timely and accurate manner.
- Post invoices, direct debits, and chase missing invoices/credits and payments.
- Contribute to process and procedure improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve payment queries.
- Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Generate reports to identify risks and reallocate costs as required.
- Perform general finance and administration duties.
- Previous experience in an accounts payable position or similar financial role.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Aptitude for general IT, and specifically Excel.
