Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of tax professionals, providing guidance and support in complex tax matters
  • Offer expert advice and planning on various aspects of private client tax, including inheritance tax, capital gains tax, and trust planning, as well as corporate tax
  • Conduct thorough tax reviews and provide accurate and timely compliance services
  • Stay up-to-date with changing tax regulations and legislation, ensuring clients' compliance with all relevant laws
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, and actively engage in business development activities to attract new clients

Requirements

  • CTA qualified with proven experience in a Director, Associate, or partner capacity within a mixed tax role working for a highly reputable UK-based accounting firm
  • In-depth knowledge of UK tax legislation across all tax types
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues
  • Strong and proven leadership and team management abilities, with a track record of inspiring and mentoring junior professionals
  • A client-focused approach, demonstrating the ability to understand clients' needs and deliver effective solutions
