Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Grounds Maintenance Operative to oversee the care and maintenance of various outdoor environments. This role involves ensuring that gardens, parks, and public areas are well-maintained, safe, and aesthetically pleasing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing lawn mowing, hedge trimming, and flower bed maintenance
  • Planting and nurturing trees, flowers, and shrubs
  • Maintaining cleanliness of paths and walkways
  • Utilizing and servicing gardening tools and machinery
  • Applying necessary fertilizers and pesticides to promote plant health
  • Conducting inspections of outdoor spaces to identify maintenance requirements
  • Supporting various landscaping projects as required

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in grounds maintenance or a related field
