About the Role
The Store Manager Designate at Hobbycraft is a key position that requires delivering an exceptional customer experience while overseeing the overall store operations. As a Store Manager Designate, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of colleagues, driving performance, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
This role involves supporting multiple stores in your designated area, with the opportunity to be allocated a store after completing Hobbycraft's management program. You will be expected to demonstrate proven retail management experience, excellent awareness of retail systems, and a track record of people management.
About You
- Able to demonstrate commercial success and awareness, with a real understanding of retail KPIs.
- Excellent people skills, with a proven track record of leading, developing, and motivating a team.
- Ability to work at pace and react to the changing needs of the customer.
- Excellent awareness of retail systems, processes, and proven experience of people management.
- Able to demonstrate proven retail management experience within a large retailer.
