We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Tutor to join our team at Dovetail and Slate. As an IT Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality IT education to adult learners in a prison setting.

• Deliver IT Functional Skills up to Level 2 to adult learners
• Identify individual learning needs and create personalized learning plans
• Continuously review learner progression and adjust training to meet their needs
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive lesson plans to address training needs
• Actively gather feedback from learners and improve curriculum content
• Engage and motivate learners to increase retention

• Five GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above (or equivalent), including English Language and Mathematics
• A Degree or professional qualification relevant to the role
• Teaching Qualification (or willingness to gain within the first two years of service)
• Knowledge and experience of current teaching and learning strategies
• Excellent team working, communication, and interpersonal skills
