Job Title: Training Programme Director

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Training Programme Director for Paediatric Dentistry within South Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be accountable to the Postgraduate Dental Dean via the Associate Postgraduate Dental Dean and will play a pivotal part in the direction of Paediatric Dentistry training programmes in South Yorkshire with Workforce, Training and Education/Yorkshire & Humber (NHSE WTE YH).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Induction into the training programmes
  • Involvement in the ARCP process
  • Delivery of education
  • Involvement in recruitment
  • Managing and supporting trainees in difficulty
  • Appointment, training, support and management of their Educational Supervisor team
  • Attendance at DST Board and Strategy Planning meetings
  • Engage in annual appraisal of their role with the ADD
