Assistant Deputy Manager Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Deputy Manager to support the management team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries. As a key member of the leadership team, you will be responsible for supporting the daily running of the nursery and taking on management responsibilities in the absence of the Manager or Deputy Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a Room Leader, ensuring the smooth operation of your designated room.
  • Support the training, mentoring, and supervision of the staff team.
  • Create a safe, caring, and welcoming environment for children and their families.
  • Play a role in promoting our nursery and building a first-class reputation.

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant level 3 qualification.
  • DBS enhanced disclosure within the child workforce sector.
  • Paediatric 12hr First Aid certificate.
  • Safeguarding training and qualification.
  • Minimum of 2 years' post-qualifying experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year's leadership experience.
