Job Summary
An exciting opportunity has opened for a HGV Apprentice to join Longcliffe Quarries Ltd and work on our fleet of modern Heavy Goods Vehicles. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will be working alongside a team of fully qualified HGV technicians who will mentor and guide you through the learning process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of Heavy Goods Vehicles
- Develop skills in vehicle inspection, diagnosis, and repair
- Learn about the limestone industry and its operations
- Participate in a range of tasks, including driving and loading/unloading materials
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and safe operations
Requirements
- Basic IT skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities
- Problem-solving skills and a 'can-do' attitude
- Valid driving license
