About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Hospitality team at Queen Mary University of London. As a Hospitality Team Member, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our guests and ensuring the front-of-house environment is always well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and assisting guests in a professional and friendly manner
  • Providing exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Assisting with the servicing of food and beverages for events and outlets
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
  • Working collaboratively with the Hospitality and Retail teams to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is preferred
  • Clear understanding of food safety regulations and practices
  • Professional, motivated, and customer-focused individual
  • Exceptional people skills, both customer-facing and with other team members
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and solve problems quickly and efficiently
  • Valid driving license
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
