About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Care Assistant to join our team at HC-One. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Care Assistants in providing high-quality care to residents, promoting independence, dignity, and security.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Conduct regular assessments and reviews to ensure care plans are up-to-date and effective.
  • Administer medication, provide essential physical and mental stimulation, and participate in social and recreational activities.
  • Maintain accurate records, including care plans, medication administration, and incident reports.
  • Collaborate with the care team to ensure seamless care delivery, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
  • Participate in safeguarding training and reporting any concerns or suspicions of abuse, harm, or neglect.
Requirements
  • Experience in a care setting, preferably in a senior or leadership role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care, with a commitment to delivering exceptional resident outcomes.
