We are seeking a skilled Telematics Engineer to join our Research and Development Team for a major automotive manufacturer. As a Telematics Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation of on-board Telematics systems, collaborating with connected car design and test teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generation and release of TCU configuration data
- Managing suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets
- Coordination of in-house and supplier TCU validation
- Project management of on-board and off-board connected car and infotainment teams
- Collaboration with Telematics Service Providers, ensuring their development schedules are aligned
Requirements:
- Degree-educated with experience in Telematics hardware, systems, and knowledge of vehicle connectivity
- Understanding of mobile network infrastructure and data transfer
- Desirable skills include knowledge of 5G technologies, non-European mobile networks, MQTT, End-to-End System architecture, and European Ecall regulations
