We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to join our client based in Morley, Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and talented individual with a strong background in M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) or MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee and manage commercial aspects of high-profile projects across the commercial, warehouse/sheds, and office fit-out sectors.
  2. Prepare and manage contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  3. Conduct detailed cost analysis and forecasting for projects.
  4. Collaborate closely with project teams to deliver commercial advice and risk management.
  5. Handle project valuations, variations, and final accounts.
  6. Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients and contractors, ensuring a high standard of commercial delivery.
  7. Provide input into project planning and procurement strategies.
Key Requirements:
  1. 5+ years of experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager.
  2. Strong knowledge and expertise in M&E or MEP contracts, preferably in the commercial, warehouse/shed, or office fit-out sectors.
  3. Excellent knowledge of construction contract forms (e.g., NEC, JCT).
  4. Strong commercial acumen, with experience in cost management, risk analysis, and procurement.
  5. Ability to work autonomously with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  6. Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
