We are currently seeking skilled Heat Pump Technicians to install Air Source Heat Pumps, which are essential to our strategy for achieving Net Zero by 2050. You will bring enthusiasm, expertise, and a commitment to excellence to our esteemed brands, including British Gas and Hive. You will collaborate with a team equally dedicated to achieving outstanding results.

Role Overview

As a Net Zero Technician, you will be part of a three-person crew responsible for the installation of domestic air source heat pumps. You will ensure that installations meet the highest quality standards, under the guidance of the Lead Installer, who will oversee compliance with regulatory and technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Install Air Source Heat Pumps and unvented hot water systems, along with wet central heating systems in residential properties. Dismantle existing heating systems, including tanks and pipework. Install new radiators and valves, ensuring high-quality pipework and boxing. Conduct power flushing and commissioning of new systems alongside the lead installer. Stay updated on all relevant procedures and safety protocols. Prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold the highest standards of service. Provide technical insights to customers interested in low carbon technologies (training will be provided). Tackle technical challenges and work effectively as part of a team. Adhere to stringent health and safety standards, ensuring the safety of yourself, customers, and colleagues.

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess (or obtain) the following qualifications prior to your start date:

NVQ Level 2 in plumbing or a related field. Water Regulations Qualification. G3 Regulations Qualification. A valid driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
