About the Role:
Rise Resourcing is seeking an experienced Assistant Buyer to join our team. As an Assistant Buyer, you will be responsible for assisting the Buyers in adapting styles relevant to your categories, reporting and effectively communicating all key trade information, and ensuring that the right level of newness is achieved to create on-trend ranges for relevant customers and brands.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Buyers in adapting styles relevant to your categories, ensuring that the ranges are on-trend and meet the needs of our customers.
- Report and effectively communicate all key trade information to the Buyers, including sales data, market trends, and competitor analysis.
- Ensure that the right level of newness is achieved to create on-trend ranges for relevant customers and brands.
- Analysis of sales and performance data to enable trade reactions to be implemented where required.
- Monitor competitor analysis and market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate cost prices and ensure timely delivery of products.
- Highly organized and able to keep on top of key diary dates to ensure deadlines are met.
- Management of Buyers Admin Assistants, delegating workload to help with running the department efficiently.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Senior Buyers Admin Assistant or Assistant Buyer within a fashion brand.
- Strong analytical skills to analyze sales and performance data.
- Creativity and trend knowledge to identify future fashion trends.
- Natural ability to identify future fashion trends and a real passion for product.
- Good communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate with Buyers and suppliers.
- Ability to make decisions under pressure and negotiate cost prices.
